NBA Round-up: Los Angeles Lakers beat Milwaukee Bucks in 2OT behind Reeves’ triple-double

In the second overtime, the Los Angeles Lakers overcame the absence of LeBron James and beat the Milwaukee Bucks 128-124 on Tuesday night.

Reaves had 29 points with 14 rebounds and 10 assists in 47 minutes. Overcoming 19 points in the fourth quarter as the Lakers began a six-game trip. By getting their fourth consecutive win despite never leading in regulation. Playing 52 minutes, Anthony Davis provided 23 rebounds and 34 points.

Milwaukee’s Giannis Antetokounmpo also had 29 points. A triple-double with a season-high 21 rebounds and 11 assists. Malik Beasley added 21 and Damian Lillard added 27 for the Bucks.

HEAT 92, WARRIORS 113

Klay Thompson scored 28 points. Jonathan Kuminga added 18 points and Golden State beat Miami shorthanded in the second half.

Stephen Curry and Andrew Wiggins scored 17 points each for Golden State, which led by two at halftime and then led by 22 points in the fourth.

Bam Adebayo scored 24 points for Miami. which played without leading scorer Jimmy Butler due to illness. Tyler Herro (foot), the Heat were without Kevin Love (heel) for the 16th consecutive game and Duncan Robinson (back) for the fourth consecutive game.

PELICANS 112, THUNDER 119 

Williams scored 26 points. Jalen Oklahoma City went on a 12-0 run over the final 2:31 to win 119-112 over New Orleans.

Josh Giddy scored 25 points. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander added 24 points. Including a tie at 3 points with 1:29 remaining.

Zion Williamson had 29 points and 10 assists. CJ McCollum scored 23 points for the Pelicans, who trailed 88–68 before using a 20–2 run to bring themselves and the crowd back into the game.

KINGS 96, MAVERICKS 132

Luka Doncic scored 26 out of 28 points in the first half. Dallas achieved its fifth consecutive win by defeating the Sacramento Kings.

Doncic had 11 rebounds, six assists and three steals, in the Western Conference leading the Mavericks to sixth place. One game ahead of the Kings, both teams were trying to avoid the play-in tournament.

Kyrie Irving had 24 points and eight assists. Tim Hardaway Jr. scored 22 runs from the bench.

De’Aaron Fox led the Kings with 18 points. But managed to score 6 marks out of 18. Keegan Murray added 17 runs.

Domantas Sabonis had 12 points, nine assists and 11 rebounds for his 55th consecutive double-double. He tied Jerry Lucas for the longest streak in franchise history.

Lillard was fouled by Reeves while attempting a 3-pointer with 41.3 seconds remaining. All three free throws were hit to put Milwaukee ahead again. Then Lillard fouled Reeves. Due to this the Lakers again took the lead by hitting two free throws.

Lillard’s cornerback was hit on a 3-pointer by Milwaukee with 13.6 seconds remaining. Russell drew a foul but hit both free throws with 3.1 seconds remaining to tie the game.

Davis blocked Lillard on a driving layup attempt to force the second overtime.
